Salt Storage Facility - Clayville & Johnston

Background
The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is issuing this solicitation for the construction of Salt Storage Facilities located on Plainfield Pike (Route 14) in Foster, RI, and at the US Route 6 Ramps to/from I-295 in Johnston, RI.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the state's infrastructure for effective salt storage, which is crucial for winter road maintenance and safety.

Work Details
The work anticipated under this contract includes:
- Pavement construction
- Excavation activities
- Installation of reinforced concrete foundations and walls
- Construction of a framed membrane roof structure
- Installation of lighting and electrical systems
- Erection of fences and gates
- Mobilization efforts
- Selective debris removal
- Other incidentals necessary to complete the work to the satisfaction of the RIDOT.
