Powers Building Cafeteria Services

Background
The Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) of the State of Rhode Island is seeking a food service vendor to operate the cafeteria located at the William Powers Building (Administration Building) at One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02908.

The goal of this contract is to provide quality food services to the employees and visitors of the building.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for operating the cafeteria, which includes providing a variety of food and beverage options, managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining cleanliness in the cafeteria area.

Specific tasks may include menu planning, food preparation, customer service, inventory management, and financial reporting. The vendor must ensure that all services meet the standards set forth by DCAMM.

Period of Performance
The contract period will begin approximately in January 2025 and will last for three years. There is an option to renew the contract for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

The services will be performed at the William Powers Building (Administration Building), One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02908.
