Pontiac Ave Fuel Depot and DMV Inspection Garage

Background
The Department of Administration Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is seeking qualified general contractors holding all necessary licensing and certifications to demolish and construct fueling facilities and all associated fixtures. This project aims to facilitate the construction of the State's new fuel depot, Department of Corrections parking, and the Division of Motor Vehicles vehicle inspection garage.

Work Details
The contract involves the demolition and construction of fueling facilities, including all associated fixtures. Specific tasks include:
- Demolition of existing structures as necessary.
- Construction of a new fuel depot.
- Construction of a vehicle inspection garage for the Division of Motor Vehicles.
- Associated site work for the Department of Corrections parking area.

The project includes various allowances such as:
1. Rock Excavation: $50,000
2. Utility Allowance: $75,000
3. Testing Allowance: $50,000
4. Environmental Cleanup/Disposal: $200,000
5. Relocation Services: $150,000
6. Miscellaneous Cleaning: $20,000
7. Winter Conditions: $25,000
8. Project Signage: $15,000
9. FFE (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment): $150,000.

Additionally, there are add alternates for epoxy coating in the garage area and installation of new lifts versus relocating existing ones.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately on April 14, 2025, for eighteen (18) months. Contracts may be renewed for up to one (1) additional six-month period based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Pontiac Ave Fuel Depot and DMV Inspection Garage located at 1365 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI.
