OER Energy Supply Procurement and Consulting Services

Background
The State of Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources (OER) is seeking qualified vendors to provide energy supply procurement and consulting services.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the state's energy procurement strategies and ensure efficient energy management.

Work Details
The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive energy supply procurement and consulting services, which may include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing current energy supply contracts and market conditions.
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies for electricity and natural gas.
- Advising on regulatory compliance and market trends.
- Assisting in the negotiation of energy supply contracts.
- Providing ongoing support and consultation throughout the contract period.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately in October 2024 and will last for four years, with the possibility of renewal for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Rhode Island, with potential requirements for remote consultations or meetings as necessary.
