Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitoring Proposal & Research Project

Background
The State of Rhode Island is seeking proposals for an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) monitoring program and research study aimed at improving air quality in approximately a dozen public school districts.
This initiative aligns with the state's commitment to ensuring safe and healthy learning environments for students and staff.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive IAQ monitoring program that includes:
- Installation of monitoring equipment in various school locations.
- Continuous data collection on air quality parameters such as temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, and particulate matter.
- Analysis of collected data to identify trends and potential issues.
- Reporting findings to the school districts and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Collaboration with school officials to implement necessary changes based on monitoring results.
- A research component to assess the impact of IAQ on student health and performance.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on approximately October 31, 2024, and will last for four years, with the possibility of one additional 12-month renewal based on vendor performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed across various public school districts in Rhode Island.
