DEM New Boardwalk and Bulkhead Roger Wheeler State Beach

Background
Rhode Island Department of Environmental management is seeking a vendor to construct a new boardwalk and bulkhead at Roger Wheeler State Beach.

The work involves the construction of a new boardwalk and bulkhead at Roger Wheeler State Beach. The project includes the delivery of specific products and services detailed in the provided documents, such as project manual, scope of work, and drawings.
The project also requires adherence to specific insurance coverage requirements, including liability, workers compensation, automobile liability, and other types of insurance as outlined in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately in September 2024 for three (3) years. The contract may be renewed for up to 1 additional 12-month period based on vendor performance and the availability of funds.
The start of construction is required within 60 days of the Notice to Proceed, substantial completion within 36 months of start of construction, and final completion within 1 month of substantial completion.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett, RI.
