The Department of Administration, Division of Capitol Asset Management and Maintenance is seeking qualified vendors to provide construction services for the demolition of five buildings located on the John O. Pastore Campus in Cranston, RI.
This project aims to clear the site for future development and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Work Details
The contract includes the demolition of five buildings on the Pastore Campus as specified in the solicitation documents.
The scope of work involves:
1. Base Bid: Demolition of five buildings located on the Pastore Campus, per solicitation specifications.
2. Allowances:
- Allowance 1: Additional hazardous material abatement and handling - $100,000.00
- Allowance 2: Underground structures discovery, planning, and removal - $75,000.00
- Allowance 3: Utilities not identified in the drawings and specifications - $90,000.00
3. Liquidated Damages: $750.00 per day for delays beyond the completion date.

Period of Performance
The initial contract period will begin approximately January 1, 2024, for one year, with potential renewals for up to one additional 12-month period based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

The work will be performed at the John O. Pastore Campus located in Cranston, Rhode Island.
