Citywide Rodent & Pest Control Services

Background
The City of Pawtucket is seeking a contractor to provide rodent and pest control services for city-owned buildings, Pawtucket Water Supply Board (PWSB) facilities, and residential properties across the city. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management within these locations over a specified period.

The contract will be for three years with an option for two additional one-year renewals at the city's discretion. Services are set to commence no earlier than January 1, 2025, for PWSB and residential properties, and July 1, 2025, for city-owned buildings.

Work Details
The contractor will provide rodent and pest control services at various locations including:
1. City-owned buildings as directed by the Department of Public Works (DPW).
2. PWSB facilities as directed by PWSB.
3. Residential properties across Pawtucket as directed by Zoning.

Services include:
- Customizing a pest control plan tailored to each location.
- Monthly inspections of both interior and exterior areas for rodent penetration.
- Immediate response to any pest issues discovered during inspections.
- Additional out-of-schedule inspections and treatments at no extra cost when requested within 24 hours.
- Maintaining an activity log on-site at each location detailing all rodent/pest occurrences during inspections.
- Providing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for any chemicals used prior to application.
- Responding to emergency service calls within 24 hours.

The contractor must ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and maintain uniforms that identify their company while on city property.

Period of Performance
The contract period is three years starting from January 1, 2025, with options for two additional one-year renewals at the city's discretion.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Pawtucket including city-owned buildings, PWSB facilities, and residential properties.
