Paper Bags

Background
The City of Philadelphia, through its Procurement Department, is seeking to purchase paper bags for the Streets Department. This initiative aims to support the city's waste management and sanitation efforts by providing necessary materials for trash collection and recycling.

The contract is part of the city's Annual Bid Security Program for Services, Supplies, and Equipment (SS&E) for the fiscal year 2025, which runs from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

Work Details
The successful seller will provide the following paper bags:

1. **Bag Type:** Kraft Paper Bag
- **Size:** 16" x 12" x 35"
- **Capacity:** 30 Gallon
- **Specifications:** 2 Ply Heavy Duty Paper with Wet Strength Outer Layer; Self-Standing; Biodegradable; Water, Weather, Animal, and Puncture Resistant.
- **Quantity:** Estimated at 3,100 bundles (50 bags per bundle).
- **Reference:** Dano Enter Ecolo Bag.

2. **Bag Type:** Kraft Paper Bag with Logo
- **Size:** Same as above.
- **Specifications:** Same as above but includes a hot-stamped logo of the Philadelphia Department of Sanitation (8"L x 10"W) on one side.
- **Quantity:** Estimated at 1,550 bundles (50 bags per bundle).
- **Reference:** Dano Ecolo Bag.

3. **Bag Type:** Kraft Paper Bag with Logo on Both Sides
- **Size:** Same as above.
- **Specifications:** Same as above but includes a hot-stamped logo on both sides.
- **Quantity:** Estimated at 1,550 bundles (50 bags per bundle).
- **Reference:** Dano Ecolo Bag.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on June 1, 2025, and will run until May 31, 2026. There is an option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods at the City's discretion.

Place of Performance
Delivery of the paper bags will be made to the Sanitation Warehouse located at 3033 S. 63rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19153.
