Lodging DOC Trning Acdmy

Background
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking lodging for overflow students at the Elizabethtown Training Academy. The lodging must be within a 25-mile radius of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania and must be on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Preferred Lodging List. The contract will result in a one-year purchase order with four one-year renewals, and pricing may be negotiated at the time of renewal upon mutual agreement of the DOC and the contracted vendor.

Work Details
The lodging facility must provide double occupancy rooms (two persons of the same sex per room) with additional rooms for odd numbers, free internet and cable, refrigerators and microwaves in each room, continental breakfast, free parking, 24-hour security, ADA compliant facility, non-smoking rooms, and keep a weekly lodging signature list of participants.
The facility should also have conference rooms with specific requirements including seating for approximately 70 participants, AV equipment, podium, microphone, and other amenities. The DOC will give the facility one week prior rooming list for lodging rooms and reserves the right to cancel lodging rooms with a one-week notice without penalty.

The period of performance for this contract starts on 07/01/2024 and will result in a one-year purchase order with four one-year renewals.

Place of Performance
The place of performance is within a 25-mile radius of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
