DSA- FD19- Laurel Run Road

Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Delaware Forest District 19, is seeking services to deliver, paver-place, and compact approximately 960 tons of Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA) to Laurel Run Road in Price Township, Monroe County. The goal of this contract is to enhance the road's surface using certified aggregate materials.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for delivering and paver-placing approximately 960 tons of sandstone, limestone, or basalt DSA. The work includes creating a project-specific pile of compliant DSA material that meets specific grading requirements. The DSA must be tested for compliance with environmental standards and specifications outlined by the DCNR.

The contractor must also provide a signed acknowledgment of the DCNR DSA specifications or a letter of intent from the quarry if not producing the material themselves. Delivery must occur at a rate of 300 tons per day, using trucks operated by individuals capable of placing material in a paver. The placement must create a crown in the surface and be compacted to specified density standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of Purchase Order and terminate on June 13, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Laurel Run Road in Price Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
