Background

Work Details
The project involves the construction or acquisition of a new maintenance facility in Armstrong County. The estimated range for the different construction components are:
1) General – $16,000,000 - $17,000,000,
2) HVAC – $2,000,000 - $3,000,000,
3) Plumbing - $2,000,000 - $3,000,000,
and 4) Electrical – $3,000,000 - $4,000,000.
Liquidated damages are specified for each component. The goals for each prime contract include SDB and VBE goals for general construction (8% SDB and 3% VBE), HVAC construction (9% SDB and 3% VBE), plumbing construction (9% SDB and 3% VBE), and electrical construction (11% SDB and 3% VBE). All proposers must be registered to view/download plans and specifications.
Period of Performance
Bids are to be received by Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 1:30 P.M. The pre-bid conference will take place on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 9:00 A.M.
The project involves optional site walkthroughs following the pre-bid meeting.
