Access control and key control system

Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Corrections (PA DOC) is seeking to procure an Access Control and Key Control Security System for its Training Academy located at 1451 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. The goal of this contract is to enhance security measures at the facility by implementing a comprehensive system for managing access and key control.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide the following products as part of the Access Control and Key Control Security System:

- KeyWatcher Touch, Electronic Key Cabinet System
- 1 unit of KW ILL, 6 Mod Main cabinet
- 6 units of Module, 16 Keys
- 1 unit of Proximity Reader
- 1 unit of Lantronix Serial Server
- 100 units of Black Smart Keys
- 1 unit of KeyPro III Software.

All items must be comparable to Morse Watchman Keywatcher Systems. Bidders proposing alternative models must include detailed product identification, descriptive literature, and indicate any deviations from specifications. All materials must be quoted FOB Destination with no additional delivery charges.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on the Effective Date as defined in the contract documents and will continue until the Expiration Date specified therein.

Place of Performance
The services and delivery of products will take place at the Department of Corrections Training Academy located at 1451 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all Department of Corrections rules and regulations while on state property. All products must meet DOC security requirements. The contractor is responsible for conducting background checks on employees who will access Commonwealth data or facilities. Additionally, contractors must maintain appropriate insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
