Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Human Services is seeking a supplier to provide various meat products for the Norristown State Hospital. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of high-quality meat products for the facility's food service operations during the first quarter of July to September 2025.

Work Details
The supplier will provide the following meat products:

1. Fresh Beef:
- Beef for Stewing (Cubes) – IQF, frozen, packaged in 5 or 10 lb. bulk units. Acceptable brands include Alberts, Kesslers, Heeps, and others.
- Beef Cubes, Fabricated, Frozen – IQF cubes, 1/2” to 3/4" in size, packaged in 5 to 10 lb. units. Acceptable brands include Holbee and Maidrite.
- Ground Beef, Fine Grind – Frozen, average fat content no more than 20%, packaged in 5 to 10 lb. units. Acceptable brands include Kesslers and Fiore Food Service.
- Ground Beef Patties (Fine Grind) – Frozen patties with an average fat content no more than 22%, portion size of 4 oz., packed in 5 to 10 lb. units. Acceptable brands include Fiore Food Service and Kesslers.
- Ground Beef Patties (Sliders) – Frozen patties with a portion size of 2 oz., packed in 5 to 10 lb. units.
- Beef Top Round, Cap Off, Fully Cooked (Oven Roasted) – Deli style, vacuum packaged.
- Additional beef products including cubed steak special, sandwich steaks, chipped steaks, meatballs (Italian), and various other cuts as specified in the solicitation.

2. Fresh Veal:
- Diced Veal – Frozen cubes not exceeding a maximum size of 3/4" to 1-1/4".
- Ground Veal – Fat content shall not exceed 20%.

3. Fresh Pork:
- Pork Ham, Outside Trimmed and Tied – Packaged as specified.
- Ground Pork – Fat content not exceeding 25%.

4. Poultry Products:
- Frying Chicken (various cuts), Turkey Breasts (boneless skinless), and other poultry items as detailed in the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over the first quarter from July to September 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to Norristown State Hospital located in Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific product specifications outlined for each item including acceptable brands and packaging requirements.
