Vendor to provide SCI Fayette (PA Department of Corrections - Fayette County) with FERT (Fire Emergency Response Team) turnout gear.Only Electronic Bid Responses Will Be Accepted. Background
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Department of Corrections, is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) to procure Fire Emergency Response Team (FERT) turnout gear for the Fayette State Correctional Institution (SCI) located at 50 Overlook Drive, Labelle, PA.

The goal is to ensure that the FERT has the necessary protective equipment to effectively respond to emergencies.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following items:
- Ten (10) Lakeland Industries SCX Stealth Jackets
- Ten (10) Lakeland Industries SCX Stealth Jacket Liners
- Ten (10) Lakeland Industries SCX Stealth Structural Pants
- Ten (10) Lakeland Industries SCX Stealth Structural Pants Liners
- Twenty (20) Majestic Fire Apparel Halo Particle Filter Universal Size Hoods (Black, Ultra C6 Rib Knit Material, HALO360C6)
- Twenty (20) Pairs of Lakeland Industries NFPA Open Wrist PBI Gloves (Size L, Lucence, Open cuff with Vizlite trim on fingertips and back of hand, ETF320OGP L)
- Twenty (20) Pairs of Pro-Am Safety Black Diamond X2 Leather Fire Boots (14-Inch, Exclusive Calf-Fit System).

The awarded contractor must visit SCI Fayette to measure individuals for proper fitting. All products must meet security requirements set by the Department of Corrections and be shipped F.O.B. destination.

Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on the Effective Date printed on the Purchase Order after it has been fully executed by both parties.

It will end upon completion of delivery and acceptance of all awarded items or any expiration date identified in the Purchase Order.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Fayette State Correctional Institution located at 50 Overlook Drive, Labelle, PA.
