Third Party Administrator for Drug and Alcohol Testing Services

Background
TriMet is seeking a Third Party Administrator (TPA) to manage Drug and Alcohol services as mandated by the United States Department of Transportation (DOT).
The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding drug and alcohol testing for transportation employees.

Work Details
The TPA will be responsible for providing comprehensive Drug and Alcohol testing services, which include but are not limited to:
- Conducting random, pre-employment, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing;
- Maintaining records in compliance with DOT regulations;
- Providing training for supervisors on drug and alcohol recognition;
- Ensuring timely reporting of test results;
- Facilitating necessary medical evaluations and follow-up testing as required by law.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue for a period of three years, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily at TriMet facilities located in the Portland metropolitan area, Oregon.
