Salem Parking Structure Striping

Background
SAIF Corporation, an Oregon independent public corporation, is inviting bids from qualified vendors to provide striping services for the parking structure located in Salem, Oregon. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and proper marking of parking stalls and crosswalks within the structure.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for restriping the parking structure according to the existing layout, which includes:
- Blue and white handicap markings
- White hash markings near handicap stalls
- Yellow parking stall markings
- Yellow crosswalks
- Yellow directional arrows
- Stop signs
- Speedbumps
- Various stall markings such as reserved, compact, motorcycle parking, and electric vehicle.

Specific areas requiring attention include redoing the 2nd floor crosswalk and directional arrows from the top of the 2nd floor ramp down to the 1st floor after recent concrete work. Bids must provide a breakout of pricing per floor (1st through 4th). A walkthrough is required prior to bidding to verify dimensions, colors, and markings.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon selection of a bid and is expected to be completed within a timeframe specified in the contract following bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the SAIF Corporation parking structure located in Salem, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders are encouraged to highlight any certifications from Oregon’s Certification Office of Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID) as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Emerging Small Business, or Service Disabled Veteran business. Additionally, bidders must provide names and contact information for two to four individuals who can discuss their qualifications.
