Roof Replacement & Repair

Background
The City of Portland, Oregon is issuing an Invitation to Bid (ITB No. 00002485) for on-call roof repair and replacement services. The goal of this contract is to provide emergency and non-emergency roofing services for various city-owned facilities, ensuring the upkeep and repair of roofs as needed. The successful contractor will be responsible for all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to perform these services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide emergency and non-emergency on-call roof repair/replacement services including:
- Repairs for cracks, blisters, drains, vents, scuppers, gutters, jacks, roof hatches, dormers, sleepers, flashing, coping, downspouts, expansion joints, fascia, gravel stops, parapet walls, pitch pans/pockets.
- Additional services may include roof inspections, leak tests and repairs, waterproofing, minor restoration work, core samples/testing, and moisture surveys.
- The contractor must have experience with various roofing systems including asphalt built-up roofs, coal tar built-up roofs, modified bitumen roofs, EPDM roofs, TPO roofs, PVC roofs, metal roofs, slate roofs and other materials listed in the solicitation.
- The contractor must also ensure compliance with the City’s Green Building policies during waste disposal.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will be valid for a period determined by the City based on the needs of the facilities requiring service.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various city-owned facilities located within Portland.
