6 Bay Garage door replacement

Background
The State of Oregon, through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) to establish a contract for the installation of new garage doors at the 6-bay garage building located at Summer Lake Wildlife Area.

The project aims to enhance the facility while maintaining its historical integrity as it is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places.

Work Details
The contract includes the installation of six (6) new wood garage doors, two (2) of which will have electric openers.

The work involves all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of this project. The new doors must match the existing doors in size and appearance, including panel configuration. Modern interior opening mechanisms are approved for use; however, exterior hardware should be reused if possible or replaced with similar-looking knobs.

All work must adhere to conditions set forth by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to maintain the historic integrity of the building.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to start within two calendar days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed and must be substantially completed no later than June 30, 2025.

The work will take place at 53447 HWY 31, Summer Lake, Oregon 97640, located in Lake County.
