Background
The Collier Memorial State Park Campground Entrance Improvement Project is initiated by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) to enhance the campground's entrance facilities. This project aims to improve access and amenities for visitors, aligning with OPRD's mission to provide recreational opportunities and preserve Oregon's natural resources.

Work Details
The contract involves comprehensive construction work including:
- Permits and Mobilization
- Site Preparation and Demolition
- Asphalt Excavation
- General Excavation and Earthwork
- Base Rock installation
- Asphalt Paving (Leveling and Wearing Courses Combined)
- Pavement Markings and Striping
- Cast in Place Concrete Curb
- Concrete Sidewalks and Pads
- Concrete Culvert installation
- RV Dump Station and Washdown Area construction
- Installation of a 1" Site Waterline
- Site Electrical work
- Trash Compactor Enclosure construction
- Landscape Restoration to Pre-construction State
- Building Construction and Improvements, including Mechanical and Electrical works.
Additionally, there are alternative bids for roadway improvements to the Well House Building, installation of owner-furnished double arm maintenance gate, parking lot signs, kiosk assembly, and a single arm maintenance gate.

Period of Performance
The project is scheduled to commence upon approval or around March 15, 2025. Substantial completion is expected by May 30, 2025, with final completion targeted for June 30, 2025.

The work will be conducted at Collier Memorial State Park located at 46000 Highway 97 N, Chiloquin, Oregon 97624.
