SW0132- Temp Employment Services

Background
The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES), Central Purchasing Division, is seeking proposals from temporary employment companies to provide temporary employment services for State Agencies and Affiliates on an as-needed basis.

The goal of this contract is to establish a statewide contract that allows State Agencies to procure various staffing services efficiently. The awarded suppliers will act as independent contractors, not employees of the State Agencies or Affiliates.

Work Details
The contract requires suppliers to provide temporary employment services in the following areas: Administrative Support (including Office and Clerical), Commercial/Industrial Workers, Healthcare Staffing Services, Information Technology Professional Services, and Professional Services.

Suppliers are responsible for all aspects of employment including hiring, firing, taxes, workers’ compensation, and benefits for their candidates. Specific requirements include:
- Confirming candidate arrival within 30 minutes of scheduled time.
- Communicating customer requirements regarding work hours, location, expectations, and dress code.
- Providing qualified replacements within 24 hours if needed.
- Conducting background checks on candidates before assignments.
- Ensuring candidates maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to customer dress codes.
- Conducting periodic quality assurance checks with the customer’s point of contact.

Period of Performance
The initial contract term is two years with three one-year auto-renewal options available.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed statewide across various locations as requested by State Agencies and Affiliates.
