Events Pyrotechnics

Background
The Board of Regents of The University of Oklahoma is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to furnish pyrotechnics at sporting events and select other events. The goal is to enhance the experience at these events through professional pyrotechnic displays. The University intends to award contracts to multiple suppliers, ensuring a variety of options for their pyrotechnic needs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide pyrotechnics for various sporting events hosted by the University. This includes but is not limited to:

1) Planning and executing fireworks displays during games, including brief displays after scores and post-game shows lasting 4-6 minutes;

2) Compliance with NFPA 1123 and 1126 standards;

3) Providing a detailed safety and risk mitigation plan tailored for each event;

4) Supplying documentation of all required state/local permits;

5) Offering additional special effects or live entertainment services if available;

6) Ensuring adequate staffing for up to eight football games and approximately 40 basketball and gymnastics events, along with other special events as requested.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will cover the duration of the sporting seasons, specifically from September through April, with potential extensions for additional events throughout the year.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various venues associated with The University of Oklahoma, primarily in Norman, Oklahoma.
