PWC Guilford Office Boathouse Siding

Background
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is accepting bids for the installation of metal siding on two buildings at Guilford Lake State Park, specifically the park office and boathouse located at 6835 East Lake Rd., Lisbon, OH 44432.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the buildings' exterior while ensuring they are weather-tight and visually appealing.

Work Details
The project includes the following tasks:
1. Installation of a complete metal wrap of all exposed wood on both buildings to ensure a weather-tight seal.
2. Covering the fascia and soffit of both buildings with aluminum that matches the existing roof color.
3. Installation of tan-colored siding, which must be approved by the park manager, using a minimum 26 gauge aluminum ribbed panel. The contractor will be responsible for measuring and ordering materials based on these specifications.
4. Wrapping one window in aluminum to match other recently replaced windows.
5. Use of J channel trim for a watertight installation of the metal siding, with outside corners also wrapped in aluminum.
6. Removal of existing gutters and downspouts, followed by installation of new seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts that are standard K style with hidden screw fasteners, pitched for proper drainage to avoid pooling water.
7. The contractor must dispose of all removed materials and clean up construction debris from the site, ensuring public safety as work is performed in a state park accessible to the public.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to commence as soon as the contract is awarded and finalized, with a completion deadline set for December 31, 2024.
