Needed Service or Supply: New Interior Lighting for Nature CenterOrdering Location and Address: 1400 State Park Rd, Oregon, OH 43616Project Background: Maumee Bay State Park is seeking bids to install new interior main area LED lighting in Nature Center building.This project will use federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) money. The winning supplier will need to register at Sam.gov and get what is called a Unique Entity ID or UEI number. A screenshot with the entity name and UEI number from Sam.gov should be provided at the time of award and contracting.Specifications/Scope of WorkLED Lighting: 8' Lithonia SIX LED fixtures (LSIX, 8,000 Lumens, 4k, Extruded Flat Frame, Dims to 10%, Generic Driver 0-10V, 120-277V, Matte White) with Surface mount kits (SMKSH) 4' Lithonia SIX LED fixtures (LSIX, 5,000 Lumens, 4k, Extruded Flat Frame, Dims to 10%, Generic Driver 0-10V, 120-277V, Matte White) with Surface mount kits (SMKSH) 6 Lithonia WF6 LED wafer light fixtures in white (canless) Scope of work: Remove current track lighting, supports, and can lighting 8 8' Lithonia SIX fixtures in two 32' rows are to be installed in place of removed track lighting Fixtures to be mounted in surface mount kits Each 8' fixture is to have 3 mounting points per fixture Aircraft cables will be used to hang each fixture A metal support (Unistrut or similar) to be mounted along the top center of the surface mount kits to prevent sagging of the fixtures Power for each row to be from same point as existing track lighting in ceiling box Power will run down one aircraft hanger to the fixture connection box of first fixture Power will then run to remaining fixture connection box of the remaining 3 fixtures in row (for 32' rows) 2 4' Lithonia SIX fixtures will be installed where current 4' track lighting is located just inside entryway For each 4' fixture, power will run down aircraft hanger to each fixture connection box from exist ceiling box All track lighting will need to be installed on a dimmer, using a generic 0-10V dimmer, with adjustable potentiometer for final dimming adjustments. Location of dimmer will be in the mechanical room where light switches are located. Mounting height for all fixtures to be above current track lighting and decided between contractor and park manager on site 12 Lithonia 6 LED wafer light fixtures to be installed in place of current can lighting All materials need to complete the project to be supplied by the contractor Contractor responsible for all clean up work after completion of job Any lift equipment is the responsibility of contractor Any damages to walls, ceiling, or floors will be the responsibility of contractor This includes damages to the newly installed Metallic Epoxy floor. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as determined by the State.Contract Award. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total. Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise ProgramThe Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise (VBE) program provides preference or bonus points to certified companies competing for State contracts, including eligible construction services.
