Background
The City of Columbus, Fleet Management Division seeks to contract services for overhead crane inspections, maintenance, and repair at its facility located at 4211 Groves Rd. The goal is to ensure the safety and operational efficiency of their overhead cranes and hoists. The successful contractor must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive overhead crane maintenance and emergency repair services, including:
- Annual inspections and certification of all overhead cranes, hoists, hoisting chains, and slings.
- Submission of a written report detailing inspection findings to the Building Maintenance Manager within seven business days post-inspection, along with a quote for correcting any deficiencies identified.
- Emergency service availability 24/7 with response requirements: confirmation of calls within 30 minutes and an equipped crew on-site within 2 hours.
- Non-emergency response time requires confirmation of calls within 30 minutes and an equipped crew on-site within 48 hours or as scheduled. Failure to meet these response times will incur a $50 credit on the current invoice.
- Daily cleanup after work completion.
- Provision of a lift with a reach of 35 feet for service technicians.
- All replacement parts must be new, with documentation including serial numbers, instruction guides, warranties, and manufacturer contact information provided upon project completion.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for one year from the date of execution, with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods upon mutual agreement.

The services will be performed at the City of Columbus Fleet Management Division's facility located at 4211 Groves Rd.
