1.1 Scope: It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Division/Department of Fleet Management to obtain formal bids to establish a contract for the purchase of Four Forklifts to be used by the Department of Fleet Management. 1.2 Classification: The contract resulting from this bid proposal will provide for the purchase and delivery of Four (4) Forklifts. All Offerors must document the manufacture certified reseller partnership. Bidders are required to show experience in providing this type of equipment and warranty service as detailed in these specifications. 1.2.1 Bidder Experience: The offeror must submit an outline of its experience and work history in these types of equipment and warranty service for the past five years. 1.2.2 Bidder References: The offeror shall have documented proven successful contracts from at least four customers that the offeror supports that are similar in scope, complexity, and cost to the requirements of this specification. 1.3 Specification Questions: Questions regarding this bid must be submitted on the Vendor Services portal by 11:00 am Thursday, October 17, 2024. Responses will be posted on the RFQ on Vendor Services no later than Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 11:00 am. 1.3.1 Pre-Bid Facility Walk-Through: A walk-through of the facility is scheduled for Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. local time at 4211 Groves Rd, Columbus, OH 43232. Attendance is not required; however, this will be the only opportunity for bidders to examine the work site. See Section 3.2.5 for further information. 1.4 For additional information concerning this bid, including procedures on how to submit a proposal, you must go to the City of Columbus Vendor Services web site at https://columbusvendorservices.powerappsportals.com/ and view this bid number.

The City of Columbus, Division of Fleet Management, is seeking formal bids to establish a contract for the purchase of four forklifts. This procurement aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the Department of Fleet Management by acquiring new equipment that meets specific performance and safety standards.

Work Details
The contract will involve the purchase and delivery of four (4) forklifts with the following specifications:

1. Forklift Model: HYUNDAI Model 25L-9A or equivalent, with a capacity of 5,000 lbs at a load center of 24 inches.
2. Four-stage lift mast with a minimum fork height of 185 inches.
3. Maximum collapsed height: 86 inches.
4. Unit width: 47 inches; turning radius: 92 inches.
5. Non-marking single solid pneumatic drive and steer tires.
6. Engine: water-cooled, fueled by liquid propane, with swing-out LP tank bracket.
7. One-piece overhead guard and hill start assist control to prevent rollback on ramps.
8. Fork length: 42 inches.
9. LCD colored monitor displaying speed, acceleration levels, and load weight indicator.
10. Hydraulic side shift with side-shifting hydraulic fork positioner.
11. Full suspension adjustable position seat with high-visibility seat belt.
12. Wet disc brake system and auto park brake system with operator presence sensing system.
13. Backup alarm and minimum one amber 360-degree LED strobe mounted on the overhead guard.
14. Front LED headlights, LED rear combination lights, and rear LED work light.
15. Rear view mirror included.
16. Warranty period: minimum of 3 years or 4,000 operating hours for the entire unit.

Period of Performance
The contract is for a one-time purchase with delivery expected within a specified lead time preferred to be 180 days or less after receipt of order.

Place of Performance
Delivery will be made to the Division of Fleet Management located at 4211 Groves Rd, Columbus, Ohio 43232.
