DYS CHJCF HVAC Maintenance and repair

Background
The solicitation is issued by the Department of Youth Services for the Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility (CHJCF) located in Highland Hills, Ohio. The purpose of this contract is to provide HVAC maintenance and repair services, ensuring that the facility's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are functioning properly.

The awarded supplier will be expected to perform these services by certified/licensed technicians as part of the MAC038 HVAC Maintenance and Repair contract.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventative maintenance and repair services for the HVAC system at CHJCF. This includes:
- Maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
- Boiler/Chiller maintenance (including boiler treatment)
- Plumbing and pipe fitting services
- HVAC electrical work

Services will be coordinated with the facility’s Maintenance Superintendent during normal working hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm EST). The contractor must complete an item grid in OhioBuys detailing hourly rates for regular service, non-regular service, holiday-emergency service, parts and trip charges, subcontractor markup charges, and a trip charge.

Period of Performance
The initial awarded contract is estimated to become effective on February 3rd, 2025, and will remain effective through June 30, 2025.
