Background
The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water, aims to enhance its operational capabilities by procuring a new outboard motor for its buoy work boat. The goal is to ensure efficient and reliable performance in water utility operations.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and installation of one (1) new 2025 Honda Marine BF150 X-Type Outboard Motor. The motor specifications include:
- Four-stroke in-line 4-cylinder, DOHC, with a minimum of 150hp at 5,500 RPM.
- Full throttle range between 5,000-6,000 RPM.
- Water-cooled with fuel injection and microcomputer-controlled ignition.
- Electric starting system and through-hub exhaust.
- Compatible with minimum 86 Octane fuel and a gear ratio of 2.14:1.
- Capable of forward, neutral, and reverse shifting with a minimum 55-amp alternator.
- Includes one stainless steel propeller, with configuration discussions between the awarded bidder and the City for optimal performance.
- Must connect to existing gauges and controls; if incompatible, new gauges must be installed by the vendor.
- Alerts for oil pressure and engine temperature are required.

Installation includes:
- Installation on a City-supplied boat by a local Honda authorized dealer within a 100-mile radius of Westerville, Ohio.
- Calibration and testing by a Honda certified marine specialist within 45 days post-purchase order issuance.
- Removal of the existing Honda outboard (unit number 20895), which must be returned in working order. The City will conduct pre-delivery inspections on open water prior to final acceptance.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within forty-five (45) days following the issuance of a purchase order.

Place of Performance
The delivery location is the City of Columbus Division of Water at 7600 S Sunbury Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. The awarded bidder may also need to transport the supplied boat within a 100-mile radius for installation.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be local Honda authorized sales and service dealers within a 100-mile radius of Westerville, Ohio. They are required to provide details about warranty terms in their bid submission.
