Background
The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water, is seeking to purchase a new outboard motor to enhance the operational capabilities of their patrol boat. This procurement aligns with the agency's mission to ensure effective water utility management and public safety.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and installation of one (1) new unused 2024 Honda Marine BFP60 L-Type Outboard motor. The specifications for the outboard motor include:

1. Four-stroke, SOHC, 60-degree tilt range, 3 Cylinder, 12 Valve.
2. Minimum 60hp at 5,500 RPM with a full throttle range of 5,000-6,000 RPM.
3. Water-cooled with fuel injection and microcomputer-controlled ignition.
4. Electric starting system and through hub exhaust compatible with minimum 86 Octane fuel.
5. Gear ratio of 2.33:1 with forward, neutral, and reverse shifting.
6. Minimum 27-amp alternator with voltage regulator and minimum 22-amp charging capacity.
7. Includes one stainless steel propeller configured in consultation with the City for optimal performance.
8. Power trim and tilt features are required.
9. Installation must include a new tachometer gauge for RPM and operating hours monitoring on the City-supplied boat.
10. Alerts or alarms for oil pressure and engine temperature are necessary.
11. Motor dimensions: Overall width minimum of 16.4 inches; transom height minimum of 20 inches; maximum dry weight of 256 lbs.
12. The awarded bidder must be a local Honda authorized dealer within a 100-mile radius of Westerville, OH.
13. Installation must be performed by a Honda certified marine specialist without subcontractors involved.
14. All work must be completed within forty-five (45) days from the issuance of the purchase order.

Place of Performance
The installation will take place at a City-supplied boat location within a 100-mile radius of 7600 S Sunbury Rd, Westerville, OH 43081.
