Commercial/Industrial Vegetation Management And Invasive Weed Control

Background
The Ohio Army National Guard (OHARNG) is seeking a contractor to provide vegetation management and invasive weed control services at designated OHARNG facilities throughout the State of Ohio. The contractor is required to provide all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies necessary for the specified control of vegetation utilizing appropriately labeled and OHARNG approved herbicides. The service requires special licensure for the use of commercial industrial strength herbicides. Environmental Proceedure Regulation is attached and must be followed.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for developing an Environmental Work Plan that provides details on the work to be performed and how it will ensure compliance with applicable environmental requirements. This includes emergency spill response and petroleum, oil, and lubricant (POL) management, erosion control, storm water and other surface water management, wetlands, streams or other surface waters protection, sanitary sewer management, waste recycling and hazardous waste management including lamps/bulbs/ballasts disposal, PCB wastes disposal, hazardous wastes management, and asbestos identification and abatement.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at designated OHARNG facilities throughout the State of Ohio.
