Canon Copiers

Background
The Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) Agency is seeking quotes for the procurement of Canon copiers to support its mission of providing services to individuals with disabilities. The agency's programs are funded by federal grants from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, with a significant portion allocated for vocational rehabilitation services.

Work Details
The contract requires the supply and installation of fifteen (15) Canon iR ADV DX C5840i copiers and one (1) Canon iR ADV DX 529iF copier across sixteen (16) specified locations in Ohio. Each copier must include specific add-on components such as:

- Voice Operation Kit D1
- ADF Access Handle
- Numeric Keypad
- Inner Finisher
- Cassette Feeding Unit
- Super G3 Fax Board
- Braille equipped interfaces.

The contractor is also responsible for disconnecting and transporting existing multifunction devices to OOD’s warehouse in Columbus, OH. Delivery must occur during business hours with tracking information provided post-shipment. Installation includes network setup and training for OOD staff on copier functionality.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to begin on May 15, 2025, and end on September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The copiers will be delivered and installed at various locations throughout Ohio including Akron, Athens, Canton, Columbus, Dayton, Defiance, Lakewood, Lima, Norwalk, Sharonville, Toledo, West Chester, Youngstown, and Zanesville.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a proper Affirmative Action Program Verification (AAPV) certificate from the Ohio Department of Development. They must also comply with all applicable federal and state laws regarding equal employment opportunity and fair labor practices. Additionally, bidders are required to submit all necessary documentation through the OhioBuys platform.
