The City of Yonkers (the City ) is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or entities with the intent of entering into a multi-year agreement for the operation of a revenue generating restaurant or other food services business in the space located on the second floor of the Yonkers Recreation Pier (the Yonkers Pier ) and the rehabilitation and maintenance of same, as described more fully in this RFP
Information on the City of Yonkers may be obtained from the City's website at: www.yonkersny.gov. Concession and Cost Proposals shall be based on the Scope-of-Services described herein.
Site visits have been scheduled for the following dates:

Attendance at one of the site visits is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. If alternate dates are required, vendors can reach out to the Purchasing Department contacts to inquire about scheduling an alternative date. No additional site visits will be held after the deadline for written questions.

Background
The City of Yonkers is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or entities with the intent of entering into a multi-year agreement for the operation of a revenue generating restaurant or other food services business in the space located on the second floor of the Yonkers Recreation Pier (the “Yonkers Pier” ) and the rehabilitation and maintenance of same.
The Yonkers Pier is a City park, landmark, and is designated as eligible for the National and State Historic Registers of Historic Places. The City has contracted with a vendor to provide work related to Phase 2 of Yonkers Pier Improvements which is expected to be completed on or about September 2024.
Work Details
The successful proposer will rehabilitate, repair, renovate and maintain in good operation condition the portion of the Yonkers Pier authorized to be used for the purpose of operating a Business and all other fixtures, improvements and property. They will also be responsible for obtaining and/or acquiring all supplies, materials, accessories and equipment necessary to perform those responsibilities and operate the Business.
Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining a security alarm/system, maintaining the grease trap at the first floor utility room, parking and valet service related to the Business, utilities/electricity, and allowing unrestricted access to the roof.
Period of Performance
