This Event 24/25-157MC is issued by the State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as SUNY ) to solicit proposals to provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services to perform regular on call maintenance and repair/retrofits/and or replacements of existing Reciprocating, Non-reciprocating and Scroll Air Compressors, Air Dryers, After Coolers, Intercoolers and Receiver Tanks in accordance with the manufactures recommendation's, (O&M manuals) and technical bulletins. All compressors and components are located on the main campus of Stony Brook University, campus Residential, R&D campus, Southampton Campus and other off-site properties belonging to, managed or operated by the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794, services as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook 24/25-157MC.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services to perform regular on-call maintenance, repairs, retrofits, and replacements of existing air compressor systems. Specific tasks include:
- Inspecting and repairing automatic blowdowns and timers;
- Addressing oil and air leaks;
- Replacing belts, fan guards, and compressor valve gaskets;
- Repairing pressure switches and intake filters;
- Cleaning discharge lines;
- Charging refrigerants;
- Replacing compressors with more efficient models when necessary;
- Disposing of replaced equipment.
All work must adhere to manufacturers' recommendations as outlined in operation and maintenance manuals.
Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or about September 1, 2025, with a total duration of five years.

Services will be performed at the main campus of Stony Brook University, including residential areas, R&D campus, Southampton Campus, and other off-site properties managed by SUNY.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide three references demonstrating experience in similar services for at least three years. They must have trained mechanics available for regular and emergency service with a two-hour callback response time. Bidders are required to submit proof of training for technicians on the specified equipment. A background check policy for employees must be included in the bid submission. The contractor must maintain a complete machine shop capable of performing necessary repairs.
