Background
The Town of Lexington is seeking proposals from New York State Certified Radon Testing contractors/firms to provide radon testing services as part of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehabilitation Grant #639HR300-24. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during housing rehabilitation projects within the town.

Work Details
The selected contractor will perform the following services:

A. Conduct radon testing in accordance with New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) regulations.

B. Provide test results reported by a NYS DOH Environmental Laboratory-Approval Program certified lab.

C. Ensure all work complies with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations.

D. Pricing must reflect a per location, single site visit basis, as multiple sites are not expected to be ready simultaneously.

Period of Performance
The contract will run through December 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed within the Town of Lexington, Greene County, NY.
