Preventative Maintenance and Repair for HVAC Rome City Hall and City owned Buildings

Background
The City of Rome, New York, through its Department of Public Works, is seeking proposals for preventative maintenance and repair services for HVAC systems at Rome City Hall and various city-owned buildings.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of HVAC systems to support the city's infrastructure and services.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
This includes routine inspections, servicing, repairs, and emergency response as needed.
Specific tasks may include cleaning and replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
The contractor must adhere to all applicable codes and standards during service delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for one year with the possibility of two one-year extensions based on performance and mutual agreement.

Services will be performed at various city-owned buildings in Rome, New York.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a bid security in the form of a money order, certified check, or bid bond amounting to 5% of the total bid price.
Contractors are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation Insurance for all employees engaged in work at the project site.
Additionally, contractors must provide Commercial General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $2 million naming the City as an additional insured.
