Police Uniforms 2025

Background
The Incorporated Village of Garden City is seeking bids for the supply of police uniforms for its Police Department. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality uniforms that meet specific standards and requirements set forth by the department. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest aggregate total bid from qualified vendors who are actively engaged in supplying police uniforms and equipment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a variety of police uniforms, including but not limited to:
- Police Trousers (Fechheimer Style 32291 or equal) in various sizes.
- Long Sleeve Shirts (Elbeco Reflex Stretch RipStop Shirt or equal) in various sizes.
- Short Sleeve Shirts (Elbeco Reflex Stretch RipStop Shirt or equal) in various sizes.
- Duty Jackets (Elbeco SH3204, SH3504, and SH3100) with specific features such as 'POLICE' labeling and rank identification.
- Raincoats (Blauer 26990 and Blauer 736 or equal) with ANSI compliance.
- Uniform Blouses (Fechheimer Style 34891 or equal).
- Sweaters, Turtlenecks, Mockneck Shirts, Tactical Pants, Hats, and other accessories as specified in the detailed uniform specifications provided by the Village.

All items must be tailored to individual measurements for proper fit and include necessary badges and insignia as required by the department.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for one year from the date of award through May 31, 2026, with an option for annual extensions up to three additional years upon mutual consent.

Place of Performance
Delivery of uniforms will be made to the Garden City Police Department located at 349 Stewart Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be primarily engaged in supplying police uniforms with adequate tailoring facilities on-site. They must provide a copy of their W-9 form with their bid submission. Bidders must also comply with all specifications outlined in the solicitation documents and demonstrate their ability to deliver within specified timeframes.
