Pest Control Services

Background
The Battery Park City Authority (BPCA) is seeking proposals for pest control services to manage crawling and flying pests in various locations within Battery Park City, Lower Manhattan. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective pest management while adhering to environmentally friendly practices and regulations.

Work Details
The selected proposer will be responsible for providing comprehensive pest control services, which include:

1. Furnishing all labor and materials necessary to control pests such as rodents, spiders, ants, and flies using the least toxic substances available.
2. Implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques.
3. Following Executive Order 22 guidance regarding pesticide use.
4. Complying with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation reporting requirements.
5. Conducting routine inspections and addressing any signs of pest activity during onsite visits.
6. Providing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all products used and communicating any restricted entry intervals prior to application.
7. Offering services on a routine basis or as needed based on initial assessments and recommendations.
8. Submitting recommendations for planned work and responding to emergency requests within 24 hours.
9. Producing detailed reports after each service visit outlining applications and control measures implemented.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a term of five (5) years from the execution date of the agreement.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at multiple locations within Battery Park City, New York City, including but not limited to: Verdesian Office, Rockefeller Park House, 6 River Terrace Event Space, Ambassador Command Center, Ball Fields Office & Garage Area, Wagner Operations & Event Space, and Parks Operations Building.
