On-Call Consulting Landscape Architecture Services

Background
The Town of Clarkstown, located in Rockland County, New York, is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms or individuals to provide professional services in landscape architecture and related fields. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with local regulations regarding landscaping and natural environments while enhancing the town's ecological integrity.

Work Details
The consultant will provide on-call services including:

1. Review of landscape plans for adequacy and accuracy, ensuring compliance with various chapters of the Town Code related to landscaping, trees, and natural environments.

2. Recommendations for planting concerning invasive species, tree health, and compatibility with utilities/infrastructure.

3. Review and/or design of landscaping plans and wetland delineation for municipal projects.

4. Preparation and presentation of written reports on the aforementioned tasks.

5. Attendance at Board meetings as needed for task assignments.

The consultant is responsible for all necessary work to complete these tasks according to recognized industry standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon receipt of a written notice to proceed from the Town of Clarkstown and will be valid for a term of 12 months or longer.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed town-wide within the Town of Clarkstown.
