Background
The State University of New York at Stony Brook (SUNY) is issuing this solicitation to procure electrical repairs and maintenance services. The goal of the contract is to ensure that all electrical systems on the main campus, Southampton campus, R&D Park, campus residences, and off-site properties are maintained in accordance with manufacturer operation and maintenance manuals and technical bulletins. This includes regular maintenance as well as emergency services.
Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and services necessary for electrical repairs and regular maintenance on a time and materials basis. Services include but are not limited to:
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Responding to emergency service requests for electrical failures.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations during repairs.
- Documenting all work performed in accordance with SUNY standards.
Period of Performance
The contract term is set for 5 years from the date of award.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the main campus of Stony Brook University, Southampton campus, R&D Park, campus residences, and other off-site properties belonging to SUNY at Stony Brook located in Stony Brook, New York 11794.
