Background
The City of Batavia, located in Genesee County, is issuing a solicitation for the Bank Street and Alva Place Streetscape Enhancement Project. This project aims to enhance the streetscape in the area, aligning with the city's mission to improve public infrastructure and accessibility.

The project is federally funded and includes a goal of 6% participation from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE).

Work Details
The project encompasses milling and resurfacing of Bank Street from Main Street to Washington Avenue and the entrance throat to Alva Place. Specific tasks include:
- Milling areas for spot pavement reconstruction
- Curb bump outs
- Resetting some curbs
- Upgrading sidewalk infrastructure to comply with ADA requirements
- Resetting existing drainage structures
- Installing new drainage structures
- Replacing driveway aprons
- Creating dedicated and shared bike lanes
- Installing decorative crosswalks
- Adding Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs).

All work must adhere to the Contract Drawings and Specifications as directed by the Engineer.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Batavia, Genesee County, New York.
