This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by SUNY Empire State University (herein after referred to as SUNY Empire ) to solicit proposals for a curriculum management software solution that can integrate with our current ERP system, which is Ellucian Banner.
The curriculum management solution should support the creation and approval process for courses and programs. We anticipate the creation of custom forms and workflows to meet all the approval requirements for courses and programs. The solution must integrate with Ellucian Banner. Approvals should be sent to the next level but edits and denials should be returned to a previous approver. We need to keep edits and previous versions in our history, along with the latest approvals.
Some Main Objectives:
Solution will be used by employees in various remote locations.
Solution to create, maintain and revise courses with the corresponding workflow identified by the university. Multiple, customized workflows based on the type of course and proposal (e.g., a revision proposal of an existing undergraduate course or the proposal of a new graduate course) would be required. The product needs to be closely integrated with the ERP. (Ellucian Banner).

Solution should provide a user-friendly, web-based interface that can integrate with our current ERP system, which is Ellucian Banner. The selected product should increase and enhance efficiency and productivity via customized capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications of eligible vendor
A vendor with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Curriculum Management software creation and implementation.
Works within higher education market.
Conducts business within the State of New York.
The results of this RFP will be used to award a three-year contract with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, to a vendor determined to be most qualified to meet SUNY Empire's needs as described in this RFP.
