Background
The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking a Treatment Provider to deliver psychiatric services at the Article 16 Clinic located in Chenango County. The goal of this contract is to provide on-site and telehealth psychiatric care for individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive necessary mental health support under the supervision of OPWDD's Medical Director.

Work Details
The contractor will provide up to 8 hours of psychiatric services weekly, which may include on-site and telehealth consultations. Services include evaluating patients, advising on psychiatric treatment, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention.

The Treatment Provider must be licensed in New York State as a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner and have experience with developmental disabilities. Specific tasks include:
- Conducting psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
- Documenting findings in OPWDD's Electronic Health Record System (EHR).
- Providing electronic prescriptions when necessary.
- Participating in case management with medical personnel.
- Attending training and providing in-service programs for staff.
- Maintaining accurate records of service hours and activities for billing purposes.

Period of Performance
The contract term is 6 months, starting from the award date until approximately February 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Article 16 Clinic located at 119 Kemper Lane, Norwich NY 13815 in Chenango County.
