Background
The Erie County Water Authority (ECWA) is responsible for providing water services within its service area in New York. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe removal and disposal of Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) and Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from various locations, including treatment plants and booster pump stations, to maintain public health and safety.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and disposal of Asbestos Cement Pipe (ACP) identified within rights-of-way in ECWA's service area. Additionally, the work includes sampling for and removal of Presumed Asbestos Containing Material (PACM) or Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from ECWA Treatment Plants and Booster Pump Stations. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and materials required for the completion of these tasks.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will take place in all counties of New York State where the Erie County Water Authority operates.
