Background
The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is seeking an operator to furnish, install, and manage a network of publicly available secure bicycle parking structures in a Secure Bike Parking System (the “System”) in New York City. The System aims to provide 24-hour secure bike parking to support safer and more comfortable cycling, encourage mode shift, improve convenience for bike ownership and use, facilitate bike to transit connections, and include design options to accommodate various types of bikes.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract term is five (5) years with an option to renew for three (3) years. The System is expected to scale up from a select number of geographic areas to all boroughs by full roll out. The quantities for this contract will be approximately 500 structures over the five (5) years of the contract period.
