Background
The MOIA Legal Support Centers initiative is a collaborative effort between the Department of Social Services/Human Resources Administration (DSS/HRA) and the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA).
The goal of this contract is to establish a network of Immigration Legal Support Centers to assist immigrants in New York City.
Up to twenty-five contracts, each valued at $250,000, will be awarded under this initiative, with a total funding availability of $18,750,000.

Work Details
The selected nonprofit providers will be responsible for providing legal support services through the MOIA Immigration Legal Support Centers. This includes:
- Offering legal consultations and representation for immigration-related matters.
- Assisting clients with applications for immigration benefits and relief.
- Providing outreach and education to immigrant communities about their rights and available services.
- Collaborating with other community organizations to enhance service delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting on service outcomes as required by DSS/HRA and MOIA.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is expected to begin upon award and continue for a duration that aligns with the funding availability, typically spanning multiple years depending on the contract terms.

The services will be performed within New York City, specifically at designated locations for the MOIA Immigration Legal Support Centers.
