Low Boy Transport Trailer

Background
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Nevada Division of Forestry, is seeking competitive pricing for a new low boy trailer. The goal of this contract is to procure a high-quality trailer that meets specific functional requirements for forestry operations. Used, refurbished, demo, prototype, or gray market equipment will not be accepted.

Work Details
The solicitation specifies the need for a COZAD 55-ton low-boy trailer with the following detailed specifications:

- Fixed 10’ wide, 16 tire, 2 axle, 4 frame lowbed trailer.
- Steel construction using 100% 100,000 high tensile T-1 Swedish Strenx700 steel.
- Deck width of 10’ with a flat deck design on 51’ pin centers and 5” pins.
- Decking made from 3” Douglas Fir with two pieces per side of 3” x 12” x 22’ Apitong outside deck board.
- Standard length of 22’6”, height of 24” when loaded.
- Tires: 215/75/R17.5 – 16 ply at a height of 30”.
- Wheels: Standard steel disc measuring 6.75” x 17.5” with an 8-hole configuration.
- Suspension type: Walking beam with rubber bushing.
- Axles rated at 25,000 lbs with a spacing of 72”.
- Brakes: S-Cam measuring 12.25” x 7.5” with auto slack adjusters and ABS.
- Gooseneck: Standard narrow design at 8’ with one pin setting.
- Paint: Two coats epoxy primer plus two coats acrylic polyurethane paint (Imron brand) in black color.
- Accessories include all LED lights, flag holders, and an oversize load sign.
- Warranty offered is one year. Additional features include a longer beavertail for easier rear loading and a cutout box for excavators measuring 6’ long x 44” wide x 13” deep located at the rear center.
