HVAC Air Filters Services for the McCarren Center

Background
The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of the Department of Administration's State Public Works Division/Buildings and Grounds (B&G), is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide HVAC Air Filter services at the McCarren Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The principal objective is to maintain a safe and presentable environment at State properties for employees and visitors.

B&G will administer and monitor this contract, which is expected to last four years, subject to Board of Examiners approval.

Work Details
The vendor will oversee procuring and changing HVAC filters on an annual, bi-annual, or quarterly basis at State-owned and leased properties. Specific tasks include:

- Scheduling filter changes with B&G personnel one week in advance via email.
- Turning off the air handler unit before servicing.
- Removing used filters.
- Installing new filters with airflow arrows pointing toward the coil.
- Turning the unit back on.
- Disposing of old filters off-site.

The service will cover multiple facilities within the McCarren Complex with various filter sizes and quantities as detailed in the provided worksheet.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence on July 8, 2025, following Board of Examiners approval, and will last for four years.
