Preventative Maintenance and Technical Support for Molecular Biology Sequencing Systems

Background
The Department of Health in the State of New Mexico is seeking a contract for preventative maintenance and technical support for molecular biology sequencing systems. The goal is to ensure that the laboratory's sequencing instruments meet testing standards as mandated by the CDC for public health laboratories.

The prospective contractor, Illumina Inc, is the sole factory-authorized supplier of parts and service for their equipment, which includes the MiSeq, iSeq, and NextSeq platforms.

Work Details
The contract includes full coverage preventative maintenance for four existing instruments. The specific services under this contract include:
- MiSeq Silver Support Plan: Full coverage for parts, labor, and travel; reagent replacement upon hardware failures; one preventive maintenance visit; remote technical support 18x5; two business day on-site response target; control software and hardware updates; on-site applications support; discounts on advanced training; remote monitoring available.
- iSeq 100 Advance Exchange Support Plan: Advance exchange for iSeq 100 instrument; reagent replacement upon hardware failures; remote technical support 8x5.
- NextSeq 2000 Silver Support Plan: Similar to MiSeq Silver Support Plan with full coverage for parts, labor, and travel.

Period of Performance
The term of the prospective contract is approximately 50.9 months from GSD approval until June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Department of Health facilities in New Mexico.
