Lifeguard Electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) Software

Background
The University of New Mexico Hospital (UNMH) is seeking sealed proposals for the procurement of an electronic Patient Care Record (ePCR) software. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to establish a contract through competitive negotiations that will allow UNMH medical transport services to seamlessly integrate the ePCR into a patient’s hospital medical record. The software must also export to required State and Federal databases. The Hospital’s vendor for electronic medical records is Cerner Millennium. The resulting contract should have the ability to allow for crew to document patient care while in transit, interface with Cerner, export to NEMSIS, and be cloud-based.

Work Details
The ePCR software must meet specific functionalities including flexibility to meet different documentation needs, export capabilities to NEMSIS and State databases, system efficiency, ease of maintenance/updates, use of mobile devices and clinical workstations for data input, data transfer between medical devices and software, seamless integration with UNMH Cerner Millennium, integration with Protean QA software, robust offline capabilities, end user administrator functions, cloud-based data storage accessibility, creation of reports from various data inputs, ability to attach files such as documents from referral hospitals and import videos/images, data import from Computer Aided Dispatch System Flight Vector and Zoll monitors, Auto-fax option availability, reporting and analytics capabilities, management dashboard and reporting capabilities with on-screen drill-down functionality, end user ability to create custom reports independent of IT or vendor support. Additionally, the offeror should provide a detailed implementation plan for the fulfillment of its proposed scope and ongoing support model.
