Juvenile Justice System Continuum Program Services Procurement

Background
The Town of Taos is seeking to improve the juvenile justice system and reduce juvenile delinquency in the community. The goal of this contract is to emphasize prevention and early intervention in juvenile justice services through the creation and provision of youth council programs for both boys and girls. This will be done in coordination with the continuum coordinator as required by the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD) grant agreement contract #25-690-3000-79640.

Work Details
The contractor will provide youth council programs aimed at improving the juvenile justice system. These programs are specifically designed for boys and girls and must align with the requirements outlined in the CYFD grant. Youth Heartline is identified as the sole provider for these services in the Taos area, uniquely licensed by the State of New Mexico to fulfill these requirements. Their expertise includes delivering CYFD-compliant services to at-risk youth, ensuring that mandated support and intervention services are provided effectively.

Period of Performance
The term of the contract is 4 years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in the Taos area.
